Equilibrium: Q vs. K

System State and Equilibrium: Q vs. K

This page is an exercise in comparing the equilibrium constant with the reaction quotient. When you press "New Question" a new window will open which provides a balanced equation, the K value and a set of non equilibrium concentrations. Use the information provided to determine the direction in which the reaction will be proceeding. Click on the appropriate circle and the results will appear in the table on the main page. When the new window appears, if it covers up any part of the main page, it can be dragged to to a clear area on the screen.
